Purpose of these web pages

These pages where designed to perform simple functions that may crop up from time to time, but while the solution has no real value either commercially or academically, they are very useful to people working in the labs. Since these tasks run on the hosting server they are not suitable for crunching large amounts of data, however, with time desktop applications will also be come available to download. These will have the same or greater functionality, but will run on your computer and so not require large amounts of data to be sent over the internet.

Each page has the instructions at the bottom of the page along with some test data.
