| List comparerPurpose of this pageThis page is designed to compare two lists and identify which items
        are in both lists and which occur in only one of the lists. The lists 
        could be the restriction enzymes that cut to similar pieces of DNA 
        or proteins in to different complexes.  
 Instructions and test dataCopy and paste a list into each of the text boxes with one item per line and then
         press the 'Submit' button. The results 
     are shown in the text box below, with the first column containing items common to 
     both lists. The next column contains items only present in the first list and the 
     final column displays items found in the second list only. The results are best viewed by copying the results to a spread
         sheet application such as Excel. 
          
        To see a sample data set press the 'Example' button and then press 'Submit' to see
