Random sequence

Purpose of this page

This web page is designed to generate a random DNA sequence where the nucleotide composition is based on user defined values. If the percentage values do not add up to 100 the proportions are recalculated. If this results in the sum of the percantages not equaling 100 to 1 decimal place the proportion of dT is adjusted.
The page creates a sequence of 1000 bp, if you want a smaller sequence randomly select part of the sequence, if you require a longer one create several sequence and copy them to the same file.
