Purpose of this page

This web page is designed to find which restriction enzymes cut a sequence and then to identify where they cut the sequence.

Instructions

After each step press one of the buttons at the bottom of the page (labelled Step 1 to 4) to move between each step. Steps 1 to 3 can be omitted or completed in any order. Finally enter your sequence and press the submit button. The restriction map is shown in the text box followed by a list of restriction enzymes that cut the sequence then those that do not.
